  • From the airport, head northwest on Airport Blvd toward W International Dr

  • Slight right to stay on Airport Blvd

  • Turn right to merge onto I-40 W toward RTP/Durham/Chapel Hill

  • Take exit 279B to merge onto N Carolina 147 N toward Durham/Downtown

  • Take exit 11 for N Carolina 55/Alston Ave

  • Turn right at N Carolina 55 W/S Alston Ave

  • Turn left at Avondale Dr

  • Slight right to stay on Avondale Dr

  • Continue onto N Roxboro St

  • Turn right at Pacific Ave

  • Turn left at Ben Franklin Blvd

  • Turn left at Medical Park Dr


The Sarah W. Stedman Nutrition and Metabolism Center and the Hirschey Lab are located at 4321 Medical Park Drive, Suite 200, Durham, NC 27704, approximately 5 miles from Duke's main campus. Guest parking is available at no charge in front of the facility. Enter the front door and ascend the spiral staircase to the second floor and call extension x2315.
